Bird Hike on Charter Sanctuary

Join us at our Discovery Center (5020 N. Putnam Road) for a guided birding hike through Charter Sanctuary.  During this hike, we may see a number of newly arrived migrants from the Tropics such as Baltimore Oriole, Indigo Bunting, and Ruby-throated Hummingbird.  Charter Sanctuary was established exclusively for the benefit of declining songbird populations.  It is closed to protect nesting birds except for special guided events like this one.  Moderately strenuous. No charge.
